Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PDFNext handles information when you use the PDFNext mobile application and the website at pdfnextcore.com.

1. Overview

PDFNext is a PDF reader, editor, converter and file management app. The app does not require you to create an account. PDF files, images, signatures and exported documents are processed on your device unless you choose to share, export, email or upload them through another app or service.

2. Information You Provide

If you contact us by email, we may receive your email address, name, message content and any files or screenshots you choose to include. We use this information only to respond to support, feedback, legal or privacy requests.

3. App Configuration and Device Information

The app may contact our configuration service to check app settings, update notices and feature availability. For that purpose, the app may send limited technical headers such as platform, operating system version, device brand, device model and app version code. This information is used to keep the app compatible and reliable.

4. Documents and Local Files

Documents you import, edit, sign, merge, split or convert are stored on your device or in locations you choose. We do not require remote upload of your PDFs to provide the core PDF tools. If you share or export a file, the selected destination app or service may handle it under its own privacy policy.

5. Permissions

PDFNext requests only the permissions needed by the installed app build and the features you choose to use:

• Files and documents: to import, open, save, rename, share and manage PDFs selected by you through system file access.
• Photos or media: to choose images for Image to PDF or signature/image insertion features. The native Android build uses system pickers and does not require broad photo or media library access.
• Camera: only in app builds or features that let you capture a photo yourself. The native Android build does not request camera permission.
• Internet: to load app configuration, update information, support pages and privacy information.
• Advertising ID: to support Google Mobile Ads where ads are enabled.

6. Ads and Third-Party Services

The native Android build includes Google Mobile Ads/AdMob. Ad providers may process information such as device identifiers, advertising ID, ad interactions, approximate location, diagnostics and other data described in their own policies. In regions where consent is required, a consent flow may be shown before personalized advertising is used.

7. Website Data

When you visit pdfnextcore.com, standard server logs may record technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time, and referrer. These logs are used for security, debugging and site reliability.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information only when needed to operate the app or website, comply with law, protect users or respond to a valid legal request.

9. Data Retention

Local documents remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and maintain reasonable business records. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes.

10. Your Choices and Rights

You can decline optional permissions, reset or limit advertising ID from your device settings, delete files from the app, uninstall the app, or contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information you provided directly to us.

11. Children

PDFNext is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. External Links

The app or website may link to Google Play or other external services. Those services are operated by third parties and are governed by their own privacy policies.

13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
